ChessIn respects your privacy. This document outlines what data we collect, why, and how you can request deletion. It's GDPR-compliant and aligned with Serbian data protection law.

What we collect
Phase 1.0 requires no signup. We collect only: (1) technical server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) for ~30 days for security and stats; (2) content you voluntarily submit through forms (e.g. demand signal form: email and basic tournament info). No analytics cookies, no third-party trackers.
Lawful basis
Technical logs: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Forms: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Submitting means agreeing.
How long we keep it
Technical logs for 30 days. Demand signal submissions kept indefinitely (unless you request deletion). Your email is used solely for follow-up about the submitted tournament.
Third parties
Mapbox receives the lat/lng of your map view (free tier). Hetzner hosts the server in the EU. Cloudflare provides DNS and CDN. No marketing, no trackers, no retargeting.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data: email denis@stomacko.com. Response within 30 days.
Cookies
We use localStorage only for UI preferences (theme, Latin/Cyrillic). No analytics or advertising cookies.

If the policy changes, the date above is updated. Material changes are announced on the home page.
